41  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Re: monster shoe on: September 14, 2005 03:35:19 PM
wow ha thanks so much, everyone. i didn't think to check out a shoe repair shop. the cheap flip-flop idea is good, too. i'm not really sure were to get huge chunks of cork, but uhhh yeah. the eyeballs were little things to demonstrate what a dilated pupil versus a regular pupil looks like. i have no idea where this idea came from... i just saw an open-toed heel, & the opening reminded me of the jaw of one of those scary, bottom-feeder fish. thanks again for all of the positive feedback!

keytar from foam board, acrylic, spraypaint, & glue. please note the awesomely skull-shaped built-in "amp".

i guess this is the most appropriate board for this... it's the sole & upper of a cheapo black patent stiletto, with short-pile fur, felt, & weirdo plastic eyeballs from my mom's briefcase. i carved the heel out of floral foam, but would like to replace it with something wearable. any ideas? cork, or rubber maybe? blah.

eazy e stencil from a couple of months ago. i made a shirt, but the paint wasn't contrast-y enough with the fabric, so it got scrapped.

blotchy letters in the test run...

this is my first post, so bear with me. i sprayed a gold base, replaced the loose pieces, & used a matte red over it.

i also made a few cards & a shirt (in green & blue), but haven't gotten around to taking pictures of them. a scan of the stencil itself:
