Yin Yang Swirly Scarf

High contrast scarf knit from the center out. White half is a fluffy faux angora; Black half is a sparkly, surprisingly soft (not scratchy) yarn. The center of the scarf peeks out occasionally to reveal braid-like join. About 64 inches long. Yours for 2 UCSPs (Universal Craftster Swap Points)

Flip Flops = Simply Spiffy Sandals! Yours for 1 UCSP (Universal Craftster Swap Point)
The Flip Flop Division is currently doing inventory - if you're in a hurry to claim a pair and/or have size/color request, just PM me. I expect I'll have the list updated the week of August 19.

Quirky, needle felted fish, direct from a mountain stream in North Carolina. This one time, at art camp ... this was a little project I made at an arts event but never wore.
Yours for 1 UCSP (Universal Craftster Swap Point)

Felted & Striped Baskety-Bowly Container-Type Object This piece, which sits at a jaunty angle, was knit flat in 3 colors, stitched together, and then wet felted. Use it to hold coins, rings, keys, or crafty bits of your choice.

Yours for 1 UCSP (Universal Craftster Swap Point)

Felted Amulet Lipstick/Chapstick Pouch The cord is long & thick; the pouch is the right dimensions for holding a tube of lipstick or chapstick. Yours for 1 UCSP (Universal Craftster Swap Point)

Department of I-Can-Not-Stop-Making Kumihimo Braids The technique for making these cords originated in Japan. Most of these items are eight strand, multicolor braids made from a variety of cotton and novelty fibers.

Yours for 1 UCSP (Universal Craftster Swap Point)
Black and Natural Hemp Relaxed Twist Spiral Choker with matte glass accent beads and skull guitar pick. Pick is suspended from cord with two jump rings, because that's twice as cool. Yours for 1 UCSP (Universal Craftster Swap Point)Claimed by LaughingLark

Black and Natural Hemp Relaxed Twist Spiral Choker with frosted red flat marble charm in a crocheted setting. This one's hard to photograph - I think it has a pirate-y feel.

4  Rattlesnake? Jingle Snake??? in Knitting: Completed Projects by Fun4Bambi on: July 29, 2007 02:31:00 PM
May I present, Iggy, the i-cord reptile, sunning himself on my front steps:

He's got little Indian brass bells for his rattle...and his tongue is huge, which is probably why his mouth is so wide open (that's what I get for using random scraps of yarn, even when I know they're not the right weight)...oh, and the yarn is 100% acrylic Bernat in the camouflage colorway.

Brihene,

That felted purse is really cute - I hope you're going to stick around for next month's round!

And LL, I'm with DropDeapSuzie - those skullies are fantastic!

On my crafty front, I just acquired a batch of alien/crash test guitar picks...ready for key fobs, neck chains, earrings, etc.:

6  Wiggle Eyes in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Fun4Bambi on: July 25, 2007 07:56:05 AM
I've been obsessed with wiggle eyes lately, and I blame it on fellow craftster member, Bigmouth!

Anyway here are two pair of earrings I finished this morning:

The pair on the left is my salute to flying red eye flights. The pair on the lleft has clear seed beads on the jump rings, although it's hard to tell from the camera phone photography.

hi-larious, ptarmic!  (I hope you enjoyed the rest of 'Rome'!)

While I'm making vinyl-lined pouches for lasandri, does anyone else need them?
Uh, I missed something...why vinyl lined?

Oh, and I mentioned wiggle eye earrings a few days ago, so here they are (click to enlarge):

8  Re: Luna Lovegood's radish earrings in Beads: Completed Projects by Fun4Bambi on: July 24, 2007 05:58:41 PM
Okay, I finished these over a week ago, but I'm photo-challenged (click to enlarge):

I made the leaves each separately, and used the excess wire to make a loop parallel to the ear wire so that I could use a jump ring - I like the swinginess that the jump rings add.

Your see through necklace is great! I have been using the flat glass marbles in necklaces, too, but I crocheted a "cage" around them, like this (click to enlarge):

I like your idea of using polymer clay - I have some patterned marbles that I don't want to cover up as much...and I could probably bake a jump ring into the clay as well.

Oh, and I really love the crocheted beads in the sparkly necklace - are they crocheted over beads, or stiffened somehow?
