1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Cutest Girlie Booties Ever! on: January 19, 2009 05:59:46 PM
I found this pattern for baby girl booties on etsy, and thought others might like to see these.

I am supposed to be making booties for my twin nephews due soon...but have been sidetracked making these up.  I am going to try to do a modification to the cuff to make them suitable for the boys, but have been having loads of fun doing the shell ruffle.  You can find the pattern at monpetitviolon.etsy.com if you are interested.  I am not associated with the etsy store, just a very happy pattern purchaser from her Grin
2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / My version of the "swing bag" on: July 01, 2007 02:45:31 PM
I just had to make one of these, and add a "few" modifications..to make it "my own".  I like a flat bottomed bag, and pockets are a necessity!  So.....here it is!
3  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / "Rag Bag" purse on: March 10, 2007 02:42:30 PM
I knit this with 1/2" fabric strips and a couple of strands of yarn mixed in....the "tassle" on the flap is a vintage buckle with strips of fabric looped through it.  I love the color!
4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Three new bags! on: March 10, 2007 02:31:13 PM
Thought I would share my three latest bags....a little variety here!
First the Boutique Bag...

Next, the Mask Bag...

And...finally.....the Wild One bag...

I think the last is my favorite!
5  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Potluck Scarf - perfect for the beach trip!(free pattern) on: January 08, 2006 05:51:49 PM

I made this scarf out of left overs of Jiffy brushed acrylic and fun fur.  Threw it all in a basket, and knit as the mood struck....out came a scarf for my beach trip!

The pattern is very simple:

An assortment of bulky weight yarns as mentioned above, and a size 15 circular needle (36 inch).

I cast on 140 stitches leaving a long end to become fringe.  I cut the yarn at the end of each row (this end would become fringe), and left a long end and the beginning of each row when I added another color. I knit using two strands of Jiffy or 1 strand of Jiffy and 1 strand of fun fur combined. I knit two rows of each color, but you could do it as the mood strikes, or as the amount of yarn allows. Knot the loose ends together to make fringe when done.

My finished scarf measures 96 inches long by 3 1/2 inches wide, long enough to loop and pull the fringed end through.
6  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Taylor's ponchos on: September 27, 2004 10:36:02 PM
Am finally able to post pics of the ponchos I made for my granddaughter, patterns found somewhere on this list!!

this was from the "poncho, bag and hat" pattern on the Groovy Crochet website.

this was from www.knitroom.boston.com
I think the first one (pink) is her favorite.  Nothing like a lot of fringe and some swish!
