I found this pattern for baby girl booties on etsy, and thought others might like to see these.
I am supposed to be making booties for my twin nephews due soon...but have been sidetracked making these up. I am going to try to do a modification to the cuff to make them suitable for the boys, but have been having loads of fun doing the shell ruffle. You can find the pattern at monpetitviolon.etsy.com if you are interested. I am not associated with the etsy store, just a very happy pattern purchaser from her
I did not make this bag reversible, as I wanted to add the pocket to the inside. To make the bottom flat, I just folded the side seam to the bottom seam, and stitched off a triangle. Easy to do, and it can be adjusted to make the bottom as wide as you would like.
I don't think there is tutorial up yet, maybe someone will do one. I just don't have the time right now. I just looked at the other "swing" bags, I had seen, and drew out a pattern on freezer paper. You kinda have to play with the dimensions. Be sure to have an eraser handy!
