A few months ago I read an article (can't remember where) about a blog that encourages knitting the names of big-box stores - GAP, Wal-Mart - and other consumerism type logos - Coca-Cola into hand knitted pieces as a social statement against their use of their own logo. I read her blog, loved it, and then bookmarked the site (or so I thought) for use when the 'perfect' idea came to me.
I got the idea last night, but no bookmark. I can't remember the site...anyone know who I am writing about? It would be really helpful! Thanks...
I am in the middle of creating a shrug as I go and am to the back...I would like a stitch that has some stretch to it. I think that I've been told/read that the different RIB stitches have the most elasticity...but I can't find it anywhere in my books know that I need to know.
Is this right or is there another type that has some give to it?
