1  design your own cable in Knitting: Discussion and Questions by natagirl on: June 11, 2006 11:24:16 AM
Anybody know how to do this?  Or know where there is some reading to do on how to?  I wanted to do the celtic knot, trinity cross - but can't find it already done...

Here is what I want to do...it seems like I could graft it out on paper and just knit on the shaded areas, but then that seems to easy...

Any ideas, oh Knitting Goddesses?

I loved this bag - I added a flower.  I made it in a week and I gave it to a friend who uses it as a purse!

I improvised a three needle bind off for the straps and added the flower at this site...

3  My Weekend Bracelets! in Knitting: Completed Projects by natagirl on: February 28, 2006 11:43:58 AM
I wanted something fun to wear to my nephew's birthday and had a bad week and needed the satisfaction of getting something finished!  These provided both AND the extra satisfaction of 'writing' my first patterns!  I can't believe I did these - from mind, to paper, to wrist.  I love my new hobby!

This is my first attempt at cableing.  Not bad and it isn't as hard as it seems!  I got tons of compliments and it feels so good!

This yarn was so great to work with - it is so soft!
