1  from dreaded to RED! Love my new chairs! in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by craftymomof2banks on: July 14, 2010 03:16:09 AM
I finally got around to recovering my dining chairs. They are covered in paint from my wonderful children and I am sure there are a few spots on there from me too Smiley My kitchen is in red and lady bugs. So they fit in nicely now!

2  My Easter table cloth. in Quilting: Completed Projects by craftymomof2banks on: March 22, 2010 07:46:29 AM
I haven't quilted it yet, but it will hopefully get done before next Easter. I also made curtains that look just like the table cloth, I just have to finish the top on them. But I love the way it turned out. While doing this table cloth, I realized that my table is as big as a twin size bed! No wonder I can't find table cloths to fit my table!

I used mostly pastel colors, (mostly pink). And a couple of my favorite fabrics that I didn't have enough of to make anything else out of. this is a great stash buster!

C&C welcome!

5  Old Church, I love photography in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by craftymomof2banks on: December 06, 2009 12:24:13 PM
I am hoping this is the right place to post this. I recently took a trip to Mississippi(I live in Texas) and I was on a lot of back roads and saw this old church up on a hill. I zoomed in on it, and snapped the pic. I edited out the electrical wires and a propane tank to make it look "older" I love the way it turned out. I painted and old wood picture frame black, framed it and use my DD dymo label maker and gave it to a friend of mine for Christmas. She loved it(sorry no pics of it framed.

I know it's not so 'artsy' to photoshop a pic, but I'm old school and still learning photoshop techniques(my kids know more than I do..lol)

Yea it is only one outfit...i was having internet troubles and couldn't get all the photos to upload..and forgot to change the title. But they are like this one...just in different fabrics.

I would have them modelled if i had a kid to do it...I made these for someone else, and don't have any kids this age to model it.

I used a pattern from online, carlac sewing boutique I believe. I had to make 10 outfits like this for a customer, and i am making these for a friend of mine for her kids school clothes. most of the skirts are stripped. But I changed the pattern up a little , so every outfit was a little different.

This one is my pride and joy!!! I used the last of my 7up fabric that i have been hording for years. since they discontinued it. i finally got the photo to upload
