1  Green and Gold beaded Jewelry set in Beads: Completed Projects by cortag04 on: January 02, 2008 08:13:30 AM
This is one of my first attempts at jewelry making. I made them for my mom for Christmas. She doesn't like dangly earrings so I got to keep those! Sorry, they are camera phone pictures so not the best. What do you think?

2  Re: Sweat Shoppe Round 12 (sss12) Closed!!! (send by Jan 20) in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by cortag04 on: January 02, 2008 08:08:48 AM
Hey Guys! Sorry to be a little slow but I wanted to post a picture of the three-string bracelets I'll be making. This picture has a matching necklace with it which will not be included with the swap but it's the only picture I have. I'm not sure of colors yet but I will post once they are made so you can pick your colors. I sent in my top picks can't wait to get to swapping!

Also, I saw that someone else who was making bracelets made them 7.5-8 inches. Is that about standard? I'm pretty new to this. Thanks!

3  Re: The One Thing I'd Like For Myself Swap Gallery!!! in The Swap Gallery by cortag04 on: December 25, 2007 07:23:59 PM
I received from Brianne (!b) today and I LOVE the bag she made for me. She was so great about trying to figure out exactly what I wanted. She made a sturdy, fun bag with the perfect spots for my laptop, iPod, and cell phone. Here are some pictures. I don't have one of the bag in use because I didn't want to shut my computer down to put it in. Thanks !b....!!!!  Cheesy

Here is all the very cool stuff I received today in the mail!

First is a bag all for my Manolo's! (Because I'm sure like all of you I have thousands! haha)

Inside that bag was an amazing purse. Which I love! This is my favorite part! Attached is a really cute quote, "I'm thinking balls are to men what purses are to women. It's just a little bag but we feel naked in public without it." -Carrie Bradshaw

Next was a hankie with the recipe for cosmo's embroidered on it.

Inside the hankie was a really cute little box...the outside

....And the inside!

And finally, inside the box was this very cute magnet, which says, "You shouldn't have to sacrifice who you are just because somebody else has a problem with it." -Carrie Bradshaw

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

Here is the very cool package I got today from space cowgirl...

There is a cute big coin purse that looks like a funny face, a tiny coin purse that is knitted beautifully, heart stickers, snowflake earings, and tootsie rolls. You should know that there were many more tootsie rolls but co-workers attacked them as soon as I opened the box. Thanks so much! You did a great job!

I got two envelopes in the mail yesterday from my partner. One had coke tabs.

I'm not real sure what to do. I finished the pattern she started but wasn't really sure about how to finish off.

The other envelope had starburst wrappers. I'll go online and figure out what to do with them.
