1  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Looking for child's vest pattern on: October 20, 2006 09:32:15 AM
Hi everyone!

I've been looking for a child's vest pattern (crocheted of course), but not a plain one.  I've seen (but can't find them anywhere now) patterns that have the front of the vest looking like animals -- someone gave us one for my son that looks like an owl.

Anyhow, any help that anyone can give me for this woudl be greatly appreciated.

2  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Need Crocheted slipper pattern on: November 14, 2005 09:33:27 AM
My friend has these crocheted slippers that her mom made her -- her mom is like 90 & can't remember the pattern, so I've come here for help.

The slipper is crocheted in one piece, ands sewn together up the back.  The pattern is started at the toe  and uses the puff stitch throughout the whole slipper.

Can anyone help me???  I really want to make a few pairs fo these for Christmas.

Thanks bunchas!!!  Smiley

4  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Hand Lotion on: September 20, 2005 09:51:32 AM
Hey, does anyone have an easy recipe for making your own Hand Lotion?  My mom used to make her own but it ended up being very very thick (like un-set up soap).  I want something a bit thinner.

Thanks!  Smiley
5  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Crocheted Dishcloths & hot pads/pot holders on: September 19, 2005 03:48:04 PM
OKay okay so I know that making these can be at the bottom of people's project lists sometimes, but I got the idea of making these for my neighbors & sisters for Christmas and I;m running out of easy patterns.  Can anyone help me out with some easy crochet patterns -- especially for dishcloths???

I'm making the hot pads/pot holders from a pattern my mom used (she never taught me but I found an uncompleted one earlier this spring when going through some of her things -- she died last Nov '04 -- and I've just taught myself how to make them yesterday).

Thanks for any help!
6  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Crocheting with fabric -- basket pattern on: September 19, 2005 03:28:32 PM
Has anyone on here ever crocheted with fabric strips?  What size of hook do you use?  Also, what size width of fabric strips do you use?

Also I was wondering if anyone has a crocheted fabric basket pattern that they could pass along to me??  Someone gave me one when I got married & I'd like to make a few more of my own.  Any help or suggestions are appreciated!

Thanks!  Smiley
