I have my machine set up on a rickety table and I accidently put my foot down all the way to start sewing, and the machine started hopping and almost jumped off the table. Luckily, I grabbed it before it could jump.

I saw a cross-stitch for a new baby. The parents were some kind of college-level science professors...anyway...the gift was a picture that was their new child's birthday in binary. So it was an 8 1/2 x 11 cross-stitch with a series of 1's and 0's covering it. Very smartie gift for highly intelligent people. Who can read binary.

I tried to make her fortune cookies for my wedding favors (without trying them out first-they looked neat for my Asian-themed wedding) and they were not at all like Martha's! I had to go out and buy Jordan almonds and tulle circles at the last minute. Argh...

I have one of thise tiny irons you use on seams and little stuff. I am constantly letting the thing heat up to maximum, and then I try to pick up the METAL stand it rests on. And then I burn a little stripe on my index finger.
