I haven't been crafting so much lately as arting (i know that's not a word). these are some images from my senior show a couple weeks ago, i'm very proud and i'd appreciate any critiques, but i'd prefer showers of praise!! haha.  take a look please.

the whole view:

2  FIBER ARTS / Weaving: Discussion and Questions / need pictures/ideas for floor or table loom weaving on: March 08, 2005 08:35:48 PM
I am enrolled in a weaving class in school this semester. It is my first time taking the class, we have done a standard double woven blanket, and i am finishing a sampler.

We are allowed to do whatever we want(w/in skill/time reason) for our next projects. I'm very interested in weaving w/ ribbon or actual fabric - does anyone have any experience or pictures of something like this?

I could use some direction here - thanks.
3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / itchy wool sweater on: October 17, 2004 06:05:27 PM
i found the cutest sweater at goodwill today - go me! the only problem is, that it's 70 percent wool - and wool isn't the most comfortable material, not on skin.

is there anyway to make it softer? will fabric softener work? i could probably wear a tank top under it, but it's too form fitting for a lining.

the part im worried about the most is the collar. it's a standard crew neck. is it possible to put a fabric insert into it or something? i can't go w/out this sweater, i love it way too much.     Undecided

any suggestions would be muy helpful
