3  Beethoven t-shirt! in Stenciling: Completed Projects by MFZB on: April 26, 2009 12:51:01 AM
i found this Beethoven record in my dad's collection:

i though it looked super awesome and as a crafter, saw all sorts of stenciling possibilities in it...& i happened to have a blank raspberry colored american apparel shirt...so i made the stencil just by copying from the record cover and this is what i made!

i used the really good silkscreen ink for the black part and it looks really professional up close, but i used the crappier stuff for the white part which is why it's already so cracked...but i guess, it looks vintage...? Huh haha
either way, i'm happy with it. it was one of the bigger stencil projects i ever made. you like?

7  recycled "good luck on finals" postcard! [lolz inside] in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by MFZB on: February 05, 2009 10:02:53 PM
so i have a really important final tomorrow which i need to study for and as i was coming home from class, i stopped at my mailbox and found this postcard from my sister:

jeff goldblum's face!

on the back:

hahahah Cheesy
it came JUST in time & it totally made my day.

it's somewhat of an inside joke...a few years ago we found this website jeffgoldblumiswatch ingyoupoop.com it was so random and well, jurassic park rules right?  Cheesy

crap! i almost forgot to explain the craft part  Roll Eyes yeah, so my sister recycles cardboard and makes these super awesome postcards. for christmas, she made me an entire set, each one had one of my favorite comedians/actors on it and it was probably the coolest present i got, better than any of the store bought stuff, of course Smiley

8  zebrahead! [hoodie made from 2 t-shirts] in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by MFZB on: March 07, 2008 12:42:06 PM
my sister bought this shirt at a zebrahead concert a long time ago, but it fit too weird and now it fits much better as a hoodie  Smiley

see, i added this nifty side panel...
and i just used another blank t-shirt to make the hood andsleeves and stuff.

(oh, and i'm going to take out those sleeves and put in better ones, because those are kinda patchy)

i hope you guys think its neat. Smiley

10  3 HOODIES [all patched up] in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by MFZB on: January 09, 2008 05:50:15 PM
*edited to add 2 more hoodies, I didn't want to make their own topic, because they're nothing special.
Just hoodies that were getting kinda "holey", so I added pieces to them and now I love them again:

you can't really tell in the "before" picture, but it was too big, the sleeves were too short and had lots of holes in them. SO, i added the extra piece to the cuff and it has long sleeves now!

This one had holes at the elbows!

and the sleeves were too short, so I added the gray and red!

I call this my "patchy blue hoodie"...its made out of a huge sweater I found in my garage, plus my favorite navy blue zipper hoodie that I've had since elementary school (it was falling apart)...so, I combined them and made this:

I used some extra gray material to add to the cuff:

here is the hood:

and here are the "before" pictures:

for me, its better than throwing away my favorite hoodie and I like to wear this one...I'll also see if I can get a better action shot.

thanks for looking!
