222  COOKING / Dessert / Smore thingy on: August 31, 2005 05:36:27 PM
I like to make a smore thingy in the microwave when we're out of ice cream (I'm a sweets fanatic). Put a couple handfuls of marshmallows in a cup, add like a hanful of chocolate chips, and like 2 crumbled graham crackers (or more) or some golden grahams. Microwave it for like 25 seconds. Easy and delicious!
223  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Stitch And BOTCH / Heirloom Blanket on: August 31, 2005 06:00:28 AM
My Great-Grandma crocheted a brown blanket(the prosecutor) when she was young (or however old she was). My puppy (the defendant)

looked innocent enough until the blanket revealed its wound

My puppy was found guilty of murder! Tune in next time on crafster court!

Yeah it wasnt that big of a hole but she turned it into somewhat of a hobo blanket because it was this fancy blanket that was really really old so yeah.
224  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Knit Magnets! on: August 30, 2005 06:48:33 AM
I knit some magnets with a word on them.

It says flyleaf.

To make, CO 10 st. in color 1 w/ size 3 needles. Work for 10 rows. Cover up letter stitches with color 2. Repeat with each letter, inversing colors. NOT A SLIP STITCH MOSAIC!

Come up with your own creative letter charts to use. I'm not telling mine.

228  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Stitch And BOTCH / Scissors are DANGEROUS! on: August 28, 2005 05:48:02 PM
I once cut my thumb real deep (a bit deeper then I'd have to go to the emergency room) while I was cutting cattails apart. (I had some crazy notion that I could stuff a pillow with that fuzz inside of them). And the fuzz stuck to my hand it was GROSS!
