This probably belongs in one of the jewelry forums.

I posted this as its own thread but figured I'd throw it in here as a homage to everyone else's versions too.

Yeah, I used Simplicity 4589.  The "pleat" is actually gathered to the patterns' specification but I would've done a great deal more of it had I paid attention to how my boobs obscured it.  It's probably because of the crazy sizing they have on patterns.

The pattern is essentially nonsense without instructions.  Even with the diagram someone posted for the construction I was still lost.  I stared at that thing off and on for days before I sort of understood.  And putting the pattern together was a nightmare too, yeesh.

Hahahaha.  People tell me I look like Kirstin Dunst from time to time.  Even when I was in Japan two people told me I look  like her.  I don't see it but obviously other people do.

I love it >D

I went to Sasuga books and all I see in that goth/lolita category is a book called gosurori v.3.  Is that the same book?

FINALLY I figured out how to construct the Yoji Yamamoto jacket.  Well, sort of--I improvised where I had no freaking clue.  And it's a sweater instead of a jacket too, I suppose.  But it ended up just fine.  The fine details were lost, however, since I used a sweater knit.  I still like it.  DO YOU? Haha.
