Love them. Practically all my friends are in bands and play instruments, so I may have to steal some guitar strings from them...

These are so awesome! I would love to attempt to make one of these except I wouldn't have a single clue as to where to get the empty bullet shells and I have so much on my plate right now. But out of curiosity and for my future crafting, where did you get the empty bullet shells?

I love these!  This would be a great gift for so many girls in my life.  Where did you get the bullet shells?  Did you have them because you actually go shooting or did you purchase them somewhere in particular?

To answer both of you, I actually found a whole bunch at a flea market...I didn't personally go shooting, at all, haha. There was just a huge bin of them at one table so I bought a handful thinking maybe I'll do something with them one day. Glad I bought them cause now I can't stop making bullet shell necklaces. These are just small ones though, I made some huuuge ones that have large quartz crystals ... I'll probably share those soon.

And thank you to everyone else! <3

This is quite nifty. I do believe my bestie will be receiving some new rings for her birthday in March. Very creative!  Grin

Awesome, share some pictures when you make them if you can Smiley

Ooh, you could use up old coloured polish, a layer in the bottom to arrange the beads in then a cover coat of clear!

I was JUST thinking that! I think it'd definitely have some interesting results .... especially if the beads are smaller, or even clear. I think the more metallic nailpolishes would like really pretty.

They are the perfect size for it after all! Just need pin backs and some good glue. I think they would be super cute on a lapel or scarf. Or even bunches of them all over a purse or vest! Such a great idea and an amazing way to recycle old pins and beads. Thanks for the tute Smiley!

You're welcome! And you can recycle nailpolish too Smiley Since, I know it's not a good idea to use old nailpolish...and I'm sure a lot of us have a ton laying around. Or at least I do haha.

This is very groovy! Oddly enough what I would like to see done with them is turning them back into pins! Cheesy

Hahah good call ! That's such a great idea.
