even though it's a new semester and i've been quite busy with school work, i've somehow managed to make some jewelry....well, lots of it. most of it is reconstructed from vintage/thrift store pieces. definitely helps me not think about all of my work for a while, haha. if you have any questions just ask! :] hope you're inspired by something!
--- more added March 16:
kind of like cinderella's carriage ....
and this one reminds me of when cinderella had to escape at midnight.
- - from January 24 :
you can't really see the chain on the top half of the necklace, but its half beaded braided strands and then several strands of chain...i got a lot of compliments when i wore this!
i love the turquoise flower.
the floral part is a vintage resin sticker decal.
its a box! and it opens! found in a thrift store, i fell in love with the daisy cab on the front of it. i saw it in a pile of jewelry and knew i had to make it into a pendant.
this is a really delicate, lightweight necklace. the hearts were from a vintage necklace chain.
hey all, it's me once again...i've been making a ton of jewelry lately, here's some pieces! if you have any questions just ask.<33
cutest victorian inspired cabachon. ever.
the filigree metal piece was originally a gunmetal color, but i painted it gold, then found some random pieces that made the entire pendant look very masqeurade-ball esque...loveee it. i also made another one with a turquoise flower that i wear a lot (i'm obsessed with turquoise).
daisies!! it's a locket. and i love it. i get a ton of compliments on it :]
another locket...this one reminds me of a spanish dancer's dress or something.
lovelovelove. beaded heart chain was made out of a vintage necklace.
more hearts! the mirror isn't real but it's cute anyway.
moree soonnn! hope these all inspire you in some way
these are lovely - you are really talented. How did you attach the Van Gogh/glass bead to make it into a pendant? I have been using glass beads, but I have made them into brooches and fridge magnets. Love the elephant ring.
I love the Van Gogh one... did you glue the picture on yourself? I've been wanting to do something like that for a while (like a 'pebble magnet' thing_ but i've never figured out to get it onto a pendant.. any tips?
I used a piece of wire! I just made it into a coil..its a bit hard to explain, so I'll take a picture of what I did and post it here!
Ok, sorry it took so long, but here's a picture. I just took a piece of wire [i forgot what guage i have, but its fairly thick, but not TOO thick and just made it into a coil.]
Since the coils are flat, I glued one end to the back of the marble and then put a jump ring through the other end, since there's the hole in the middle.
