I can not remember where I got the pattern it was from the discussion board here.  But I did finish the bag and boy it is ever huge. I love it.  We are leaving in 2 days to go to Yellowstone so this will be my craft bag.  It is lined with muslin.

26  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / Cherries & Strawberries on: July 26, 2006 07:53:15 PM
We have some friends who bought a new home and when they moved in they found out they had a cherry tree and strawberry plants in the backyard.  So I thought I would do a housewarming for them so I had a set of tea towels with cherries and strawberries on them.

27  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / B Movie Night Robot on: July 26, 2006 07:48:38 PM
Quite awhile back like 4 months we had a B movie night at my parents.  We watched The Head that Would Not Die.  It was hilarious.  So I decided to make an old 50's type shirt for my husband and here it is.
My Husband sporting it.  It is hard for me to take a picture when he standing up he is 6'4" and I 5'2"  So for the close ups he is sitting down.

I used sublime stitching Atomique!

Close up of left.  I had a terrible time with the fluorescent thread.  I hate it more than metallic.

Close up of the right I call these my silver lips

Then a close up of my dad's shirt all is the same except he does not have an alien he has a rocket.

Can you transfer iron-on patterns on bath towels?  I would like to make some decorative towels for my guest bathroom.  I do not like the look of appliqu.
29  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Hat from interweave magazine on: January 08, 2006 11:50:57 PM

30  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Discussion and Questions / Canvas/Tote Bags on: January 08, 2006 10:54:39 PM
I know this is probably a stupid question.  When embroidering on canvas/tote bags is it necessary to use a hoop.  I have not been able to get my hoop to stay on it.  So far it looks fine not using a hoop.  Just wanted to know what other people have done.
