15  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Mother's Day Bag on: May 14, 2007 12:53:21 AM
This is a bag I made for my mom.  She is always hauling files to and from work. I made it large enough to handle her legal files.  I also made this bag to be a liner in a crochet bag but I liked the material so much I ended up making 2 of these for her.  One for her camping trailer and one for her to take to work.   This one is the one for work.

Here is a book bag I made with a pattern from the sublime book.

Inside

This matches a skirt I made for myself a few years ago.  I love the fabric and had just enough to line this bag and I plan on making a headband later.

18  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / Camp-Out Patterns on: April 19, 2007 11:17:12 PM
I made these for my parents camper. I will be giving it to them in 2 weeks.  For their first official camping trip of the year.

Tea Towels

No I did not spell family wrong.  When I was little I could not say family so I said Flamily and my mom loves that word.  I thought it would be fitting.

19  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / Baby Shower gifts on: April 07, 2007 09:43:18 AM
I have 3 friends that are pregnant and all due around the same time and in 2 weeks I have gone to 2 baby showers.  I made this set of onesies for my friend who is a co-worker.  I forgot to take photos of the first set and they are already back in Texas with the mom.  She told me she would take photos when she has the baby.  I am still working on the second set the shower is not until the end of this month.  I will post those pictures when I get done.

20  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / Viva Las Vegas Towels on: November 26, 2006 11:09:33 AM
I finally finished my towels I kept procrastinating.  I could not decided what colors to use.  Hope you like them.

I changed the one towel to be a real royal flush. My husband told me it was wrong.
The banner is made with metallic thread and embroidery floss together.  I liked the effect kind of like a neon sign.
