I received from polkadotts today. A set of lovely jeweled paperclip markers. As soon as I finish posting, I'm off to put them to work in my lesson plan and gradebook for school! THANKS!

I love all these different bookmarks. The watercolored one is just beautiful! I never realized how many styles bookmarks could come in!

  I'm hoping my bookmarks make it soon - we had some flooding downtown during the Hurricane/Tropical Storm/Depression that lit down on TX and flooded some of our library and post office, so I'm hoping my bookmarks made it out before the floodwaters made it in.

I definitely thinking about signing up. Have to see what my schedule will look like for the next few weeks and into October.

A wooden bookmark painted shiny red and embellished with red roses and the word "bloom." Roses are my favorite flower.

A metal bookmark with some lovely red and black beads and a beautiful rose charm. Love this style of bookmark!

A decoupage bookmark with lots of red and black and white and tons of ribbons. One side shows photos of some of my favorite authors and books. There's also another red rose. The opposite side has a picture of and quote by Eleanor Roosevelt.




You all really spoiled me on the red roses! THANKS to everyone for my lovely bookmarks. They are all headed to various paperback and hardcover "homes!"

Sorry I haven't posted my photos yet. I've received 3 beautiful bookmarks so far! I am picking up my camera cord tomorrow so I'll be able to post photos tomorrow! yay!

I apologize for not posting for awhile. I've been out of town for a couple of weeks. But yay, how exciting to come home to partners! I can't wait.
It will be great to have some new bookmarks as I have a stack of books waiting to be read! Off to start crafting!

I am feeling totally spoiled by my swap partner Mary, aka angelofmusic!  She really outdid herself! 

She also included a bunch of yarn and the biggest knitting needles I have ever seen.

Ok, first of all - I am going to steal that music apron! LOVE IT! And if I can't get my hands on the music one, then I'm going after the yellow and teal one! Great job on those!

Second, I'm in agreement that even tho I'm breaking from swapping after the bookmark swap, I would totally do this one again. And I don't even have my package yet (which I KNOW I will love.)

Third, thanks for the compliments. I can't take credit for the monster tote. I "borrowed" the idea from here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=340056.0  I've had the post bookmarked forever, but I kept waiting to be partnered with someone who had a little boy so I could try it. I was so worried those crayons would melt so I'm glad to see they made it in eight, normal shaped pieces! I got the fabric at Hobby Lobby. It's actually the autism awareness fabric (here's a pic of their cause ribbon with the puzzle pieces: http://www.autism-society.org/site/PageServer?pagename=homepage). Glad you liked everything. I had fun making them. The scrubbie and dishcloths were made on our mission trip since I had 12 hours of riding in a church van and nothing to do but crochet! (Especially when my ipod died.)

I'm intrigued by the M&M teaser. I love M&Ms - eating them of course, and my return labels, checks, and debit card holder are all M&Ms. I even had a green M&M shirt for awhile, so...hmmmm...can't wait to get back home and open my package.

Sounds good to me - I do agree with everyone else though that the questions need to be answered for her hubby's likes/dislikes so those who are paired can craft specifically for him. If you need someone else for that group, don't hesitate to sign me up.
