I received from polkadotts today. A set of lovely jeweled paperclip markers. As soon as I finish posting, I'm off to put them to work in my lesson plan and gradebook for school! THANKS!

Here they are in all their sparkly goodness:

Without any further ado, here are the bookmarks I've received so far. I love them all! We have such creative people here at Craftster! Thanks!

From phoenixfiredesigns:

A wooden bookmark painted shiny red and embellished with red roses and the word "bloom." Roses are my favorite flower.

From lelila:

A metal bookmark with some lovely red and black beads and a beautiful rose charm. Love this style of bookmark!

From Pixiefirefly:

A decoupage bookmark with lots of red and black and white and tons of ribbons. One side shows photos of some of my favorite authors and books. There's also another red rose. The opposite side has a picture of and quote by Eleanor Roosevelt.

You all really spoiled me on the red roses! THANKS to everyone for my lovely bookmarks. They are all headed to various paperback and hardcover "homes!"

Here is the lovely box I received from tangemeenie.

M - M&M's & M&M's Magnets - too cute and will be perfect for my new fridge! (You can see the inside of the Altoid's tin too!)

A - Altered Altoid's Tin & Address Labels

This photo shows the top and bottom of the tin. It was her first one to decorate, but you'd never know it!

This is the decoration for the address labels. She hand drew the design!!!!!!

R - Red Chenille Scarf - love the basketweave stitching

Y - Yarn in Black & White - can't wait to turn this into socks or house slippers! (The card she sent is also shown!)

Thanks so much for such a great package!

Here are my two lovely pages from april again. They are fabulous! The black and white one is all glittery. The Disney one matches my Disney book perfectly! Had a great time and thanks April!
(Sorry about the angle...I couldn't get a good one from straight on without glare.)

The black and white one for best friends.

The red and black Disney page.

5  Re: Potholder Swap Gallery ~ Sendouts 6/30 in The Swap Gallery by angelofmusic on: July 06, 2010 02:57:02 PM
I received my items from petunya today. They are perfect! Love them!!!!!

First, there is this awesome tea cozy! I've been wanting one of these forever. petunya used a really cute black and white sewing themed fabric that matches my house perfect. The inside is a cute red and white fabric. And some bling at the top for embellishment!

Next, there are 3 potholders - all the same patterns and fabrics but the colors are rotated around. The back is lined with a black plaid - which will be great for hiding all the red sauces I cook with!
They are lined with insulbright which works great! I just tried it out on my pressure cooker which is currently processing home-canned organic potatoes.

Thanks so much! The fabrics are perfect! I love them all!

6  Re: $4.95 Swap AKA Fill a SMALL Flat Rate Box R2 Goodie Gallery in The Swap Gallery by angelofmusic on: July 06, 2010 02:47:15 PM
Glad you liked it! Some of those items are supplies I received in a couple of previous FAB swaps, so I'm hoping you can find a use. Some are items I cleaned from my stash.

I just received my box from sloanlaw. Here is all of it's crafty goodness:

It contained lots of fabric, some embellishments for scrapbooking, some DMC thread, some bias tape, and the cutest little felt bluebird embellishment.

Thanks so much sloanlaw.

I also used the same pattern to make a Union Jack dress for another production.

Sorry I've been silent of here lately. I got sick earlier this week and was dead to the world. I feel great now though! If it stops raining here tomorrow I may go to our town's 4th of July parade just to get out of the house. It's a huge thing here - they even bring in port-a-potties for the event! Luckily the route goes down the street right outside my apartment so I only have to walk about 200 meters. Smiley Anywho, I'm loving the boxes - it's so fun to see what we all get. It reminds me of the old addage: One man's trash is another man's treasure. Except for us it's: One craftster's extras/overyardages/unused is another Craftster's creativity pile!

I received from TerraBella01 a couple of days ago, so here's my goodie pile! I absolutely adored the stuff!

The first things I saw were the large stash of paper goodness and a length of fabric. Most of the paper will go into cards and scrapbooks. I'm going to use the fabric to make more quiet bags for our children at church (bags with crayons and color books for worship service). They will love the bright colors and print - especially the boys who always complain about the "girlie" fabric on some of the bags!  Wink

Then there were the four cross stitch mini-kits. They were the cutest patterns. I passed them along to my best friend who is on her back after surgery. She's nearly got them all done! Smiley This photo also shows more paper. I love the metallic paper (on the right side). And the Mickey Mouse paper is PERFECT for my Disney scrapbooks I'm working on. Smiley I told TerraBella01 that I had to laugh because I passed on a very similar object in this photo to one of my partners in their box! (Won't tell what here to not spoil the surprise!)

Thanks! I love everything and will use it all!

9  Re: Make Me a Purse Then Fill It-- Gallery in The Swap Gallery by angelofmusic on: June 11, 2010 08:56:07 PM
Ok, sorry for the long wait for photos - especially to my partner - you deserved to have this posted immediately!

It's gorgeous! Black and white and my favorite style of print!

The purse outside - there's a monogram initial key chain of my first and last initial "M" on the left side - it didn't show up too well in the photo:

The purse inside:

The pen - filled with the same purse fabric so it matches!

The Orbit gum (my fav) holder - on a keychain so I won't have to dig for my gum!!!! YAY!!!!!

All my goodies - silver cosmetics bag, silver journal book with photo holder cover, silver glasses case, and the orbit gum holder.

Thanks again to my amazing partner Lindag35 who really nailed my likes on the head! THANKS SO MUCH!

10  Re: Spring Cleaning 2010: Fill a FLAT RATE Box; GALLERY send by 5/22 in The Swap Gallery by angelofmusic on: May 20, 2010 10:22:24 PM
Great boxes everyone! Looking at ya'lls', I hope mine is sufficient and that my partner likes it...

Here is my box from Oops Creations (our fantastic organizer!):

The entire box laid out on my card table. The box included a ton of stuff, so here is a short list:
Paper Trimmer, Leather Square Samples, Foam Stamp, Magnets, Tea Bag Carrier, Yarns, Plastic Food Charms, Ribbon, Raffia, Fabric, Tulle, Scrapbooking Paper, Stickers, Mat Board (I think) Samples, Glitter Paint, Tiles, Scrapbook Album

And a few of my favorites:

Raffia and Ribbon

Scrapbooking Paper and Album

Gorgeous Yarns

Huge Envelope Full of Stickers!!!!!

Really great magnets that I put on my fridge, not in my crafting box...

And my favorite (although I had to ask what it was...) - a teabag carrier!!!! How cool is that! I've been using it to carry my tea to school in my bag. Another teacher keeps trying to steal it, so I may have to make her one too!

Thanks so much! This box was great!
