I got a new baby dog for 4th of July, and at 4 months hes 49 pounds, and I have already had to buy him 2 collars and 2 harnesses because he grows out of them so fast, so I got smart and decided to make them instead. I also made one for his big Sissy ( shes 11 ) because she has had so much patience with his exhuberance and sharp little puppy teeth! I swear to god Mom I didn't eat your down comforter, it just exploded it happens! Maybe the feathers wanted to be free. Enough with the ding dang camera, you wanna lose a toe, do ya do ya?
Nice DIL! I know what you mean about sewing the same thing over and over, I once had to make 28 black skirts for my daughters choir club. To this day the sight of a black pencil skirt makes me wanna scream.
very nice, my daughter is really into manga and cosplay, she likes bleach alot too. We made some costume with the same lines dot pattern you have on the bag, but it was on a kimono.
Super cute, if you use iron on interfacing it stabilizes knit fabric and makes it easier to sew, that way it prevents it from stretching. I learned that making a quilt out of old band tshirts.
Sewing bias binding on corners is a daunting task, because you have to mitre it. Being lazy I just round all corners with a thread spool, then prepress the binding into a curve before attaching it. The foot the person is talking about in the previous post is a bias binding foot and nancys notions has them and so does clotildes.
