sorry this is an incredibly late response, but i would love to be part of this in the spring. i have been on a crafting hiatus, blah. i feel like there isn't much of a crafty presence in fayetteville. it hurts my lil crafty heart.
My mom is a total swiffer addict so I was looking to do something similar. I'll be giving her a Christmas gift green basket and hoping to turn her on to reducing, reusing and recycling by making items like this. Thanks for posting this and showing us it can be done and in such a cute way!!
P.S. I own an Omop (from Method) which does offer reusable pads and is similar to a swiffer. For those looking for something similar but from a more greener company.
I bought these two matching huge, heavy, black chandeliers made out of iron and wood that this nice lady was selling for an amazing price. (She was closing out her lil antique shop.) So for the last few years I've been holding on to them figure out a special project and here it is!! I was just thinking about that I had to finally do something with them or sell them.
I have so many ideas on what I want to do, paint, either rewire (hard wire? plug-in? I'm a wiring newb) or candelabra, etc. I'm excited!
Oh my gosh! This is so gorgeous. I do hope you will make another and share your talents with others by letting us buy it. (and more if you like!) I would love to have this! I hit this rocks because it does and makes my heart sing. It's like one of those items you see and it makes you wiggle and dance and want to own it. This is such a thing for me.
