Thanks everybody!

Why the veggies?.  You know, I don't really know.  I just thought it would be fun to serve the purse up like a baked potato or whatever. One of thse "good ideas" you get at 5:00 in the morning.   Wink

Haha when I saw the picture on the front page next to the salad I was like "burritto holder?!?!"

And then I thought to myself "You're an idiot, why would anyone need a burrito holder..."

I got my second package from LauraCore! Everything is so amazing Smiley

Here's an ink drawing she did of hands and a bird:

This is a handmade journal and some water color paints to paint inside the journal:

This is a resin jewlery kit and some awesome molds (I can't wait to get started on this!):

Some yam yam candy (yum yum!) and a homemade chocolate cupcake:

And last but not least, some awesome guitar pick earrings! Love them!

Thank you Laura, I love everything  Kiss

PS-I forgot to post a picture of the chocolate mint altoids!

14  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: Rice add ins? on: March 05, 2008 10:15:51 PM
Well, I almost always cook my rice with either chicken broth or red wine instead of water. I also enjoy making a healther version of fried rice. I cook my rice, set aside. Chop up some of my favorite veggies and steam them or cook them in a non-stick pan. Then I add a tablespoon or two of olive oil, add the rice, and mix them together. Then I push the rice to the side of the pan, and scramble an egg or two in the middle. Once it's scrambled, I mix it all together.

It's really good and pretty filling.

I love the creativity! That's great that you put your flowers together yourself. That can get sooo expensive.

My boss got married last September and used orange calle lillies. She searched high and low for a good deal, but it still ended up VERY expensive. I never even thought of suggesting putting the boquets together.

I can't wait for the rest of the pictures!

The purse is adorable, and I love the D's as handles, very creative!

I'm from San Diego and I have a few friends who are at UCSC for school. Santa Cruz is such an awesome city. It's so beautiful and has such a great laid back vibe.

Nice job representing it Smiley
