2  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / Crafty solution for a messed up door? on: January 08, 2012 10:44:23 AM
Hello!
This is the inside of my bathroom door. It was damaged by flood twice. (Oh, the trials and tribulations of a basement apartment dweller.) Short of replacing the door, I was wondering if anyone had any crafty ideas to make it look a little bit better? It is basically wood luan that is peeling off the door core.
Thanks very much in advance!

3  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / Scrapbook kit--where to buy? on: December 17, 2005 06:22:19 PM
In the family holiday draw this year, my husband got our sister-in-law. We brainstormed and decided that a scrapbook kit would be the best gift for her. But we can't find them for sale anywhere! Eeek! Help! Huh

Honorhappy, Katiekat82 & Kewlchik: Thanks so much for all of your great suggestions!
Since the kitchen is tiny, I really like the idea of making more work space on the stove top. I'm considering a wood cover that could double as a chopping board.
And I think I'll finally buckle and look for the teflon saucer/drip pan replacements. The ones I have are gross.
I really appreciate your responses!  Grin

Hi, Meco.
I'm having a hard time visualizing. Are the cords running across the floor?
 Huh
7  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / Stove top ideas on: September 07, 2005 11:29:12 AM
Hi!
I want to cover the saucers under the burners on my electric stove with a more sustainable (and better looking) material than aluminum foil. Any ideas?

Also, does anyone know how to make burner covers for when the stove isn't in use? Or maybe someone has made a cover for the entire stove top, thus creating more work space?

Any and all suggestions appreciated! Thank you!  Kiss
8  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Bar to liquid soap question on: September 07, 2005 09:48:18 AM
Does anyone know how to make bar soap (like Lever) into a liquid soap that can be poured into a pump dispenser?
Thanks!
