My Mister, bought some drill bits from the part store.  I quickly claimed the box!
It was raw wood, I found some cute scrapbooking paper and podged it on.  I use it for some of my jewelry. I can't wait until he has to buy more

I want to plan a little party  .  I love making appetizers but I need some new hip recipes.  The spinach dip in bread thingy has been over done in my family.  I want stuff I can serve cold or can prep the next day.  Please share your fave recipes!

Of course I have gone and left this until the last minute!!!
I start Monday and it goes 5 days.
I have 12 kids ages 6-14 (the younger ones are very craft-abled)  I just found out there are 4 older boys coming!!!  There goes doing Kanzashi flowers!

paper masche (sp???) bowls
duct tape wallets
larger gem magnets (back decorated with sharpies)
maybe origami (anymore elaboration?)
pony bead keychains (I have to find patterns)
shrinky dink stuff???

My budget for this is under $100.  I have a Micheal's store here and a Dollarama (I love Dollarama)

I have just quit smoking and I need someting portable to lug to friends houses or when I am sitting at the boyfriend's house.  I have a little embroider kit, so I thought that would work.  I have done the tea towel thing and enough onsies to dress the city.  Any other cool ideas?   I can sew, and have done purses with my stuff on it.  Perhaps anything I can turn into Christmas presents??

My niece is 4 and it was her first day of preschool today.  I want to make her something but she already has a bookbag and that's the only thing i can thing of. Any help?  She likes Batman and  My Little Pony.She has two younger siblings, her sister gets a lot of attention from us lately because she was just diagnosed with high functioning Autism which is a handful.  I want Eve's big day to be special.  Thanks!

This year we are having a Texas hold'em poker party.  I was wondering if any of you creative people had an ideas on appies and decorations.  I already found the playing card coaster idea.  Anything else?? 

I agreed to join a local small town craft fair in 3 weeks.  My sewing machine is screwed.  Any ideas for fair stuff without a machine (I usually sew purses).  I have etched stuff, marble magnets and record bowls.  For supplies I have some beads, fabric, ribbon, origami paper and paints.  It's a small town thing and I like to target"gifts for under $10".

I just separated from my husband and moved out on my own, it was a good separation and my ex and I are still really good friends.  My parents have helped me paint my new place (my kitchen is orange!!) and the paid for the paint.  Then they bought me groceries, kitchen stuff area rug etc... they spent about $400.  My parents aren't wealthy and work hard for their money and won't accept cash in return. 

My parents love spending time together, they love their yard.  My mom is going through a tough time, as her family is...well crazy, and are not talking to her.
Help me make something special please.

I entered a craft fair for mid October and I'd like to do one for early December.  My question to the pros is do you have any tips on staying organized, focused, sane?  I have a list of the supplies I'll need, the stuff I'm making and the amount I'll need.  I'm still feeling a bit suffocated.
