so i was bored on a friday night stuck in stanton, what better way to waste my time than to make a dress!

haha still got to use up all the fabrics i bought the other week so again its black and white.

I've gone for the simplistic look...

Was really easy to make, just changed the neck shapings on the black and white stripey dress, added some white piping and made a white tie belt to go around the waist. SIMPLE!

Also made another dress a few days ago

still needs finishing touches, going to have 6 buttons on the black center panel. white ones with a smaller black one in the middle. Ill have better pics when its done.

yer i made the leggins myself, i drafted a close fitted trouser block out of the winifred aldridge pattern cutting book that we are given at college. once i had the block drawn out i creted a side seam that curved from the center back to the center front of the leg, but thats pretty difficult to do though. Once youve drafted a pattern for it though there so easy to sew. i just sewed ellastic in at the top.

the book is really great. its got everyting you need to start off your own patterns. once youve draftd whatever it is you want out of there its so easy to change the style shape and and new seams style lines etc.

heres the link to it on amazon
