Wow you guys have sweet rooms! I'm very impressed. And jealous of those of you who managed to score private bathrooms.
I'm a Prefect this year, which accounts for my insanely large room, ha.
First photo: My lofted and super-comfy bed. The blanket is hand made, and the bed spread covers (more or less) what is stored beneath--that being my craft supplies, fridge, and clothes hamper.
Second photo: My wall of awesome. This sits behind my desk. I've found the secret to getting posters to stay on brick is not tack, but masking tape. Lots and lots of masking tape.
Third photo: Okay, this looks much better in real life, ha. It's an old navy trunk (bought of a former naval guy for about twenty bucks), and holds my books/some supplies/shoes/what-have-you. It's strong enough for people to sit on, so it serves as a mini couch. The faux suede pillow is huge, and makes a great cushion/more seating. I found the green fabric/blanket in Rome, the albino alligator in SC.
Fourth photo:The closet, place of myth and mystery. And my socks. As to the interior of the closet...the only thing that drives me crazy is that my dresses drag on the bottom a bit. I've since put up hooks on the wall for the longer ones.
Fifth photo: My TV chair, and extra bookshelf/towel holder.
Sixth photo:In the immortal and cliched words of MTV Cribs, I give you my desk, where all the magic happens.
Seventh photo: My dresser/place for books number 245 1/2. Clearly, I am an English major, ha. Also, please forgive the shirt--it had to lay flat to dry.
And there you have it!
