You've done the lines so clearly not to mention what a good painter you must be. I've always loved the Fireys. Now i feel like attempting to make a doll of them. Jareth is to die for, especially since my name is sarah..it makes me feel special.

My friend, whom I made this for, her name's Sarah. One of the major reasons why I did it for her, and also why she loves the movie so much!

And thank you for the complement! I would like to think (although sometimes it's hard) that after all the years and all the practice, I've acquired some skill, but it's always nice to hear someone confirm.

Fireys rock ... this shirt is awesome they were the best part of the movie.. well the bog of eternal stench was pretty great to ... but probably wouldnt make for a very cute shirt lol ...

Thank goodness there is someone out there who agrees with me! I always wanted the stuffed one Sarah has in her room at the beginning of the movie!! I imagine all the limbs and the head is just velcroed on!

HAHA That movie is my sisters FAV movie OF ALL TIME!!!
Everytime she watches it she walks out of the room while they come on....You swear youd think she'd.......LOSE HER HEAD!!!
HAHA....ok...i'll stop...
The stencil is AMAZING anyways I love the colors

I can't understand this fear of the Fireys!! It's nuts, they have always been my favourite little guys.

The fire gang characters terrified me the first time I ever watched the movie. To this day I have to fast forward through that part!

That's terrible! The Firey's were always my favourite part, they're so cute!

I painted this t-shirt for my friend's birthday. I scanned it, and then completely forgot about it for months.

If you don't know what this is, or what it means, well then I'm sorry, but you just haven't lived life to the fullest.
7  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: purple italian driving gloves on: June 03, 2006 08:20:52 AM
I just got an email last week from Debbie Stroller putting out a call for submissions to a new knitting book she's publishing.

The patterns she's looking for are supposed to be slightly advanced, and these look like they'd be perfect for the book!!

If you're interested Patterns are due June 16th, just email her a few good quality images, and a detailed description of the gloves to stitchnbitch@bust.com.  I've still got the email, if you'd like I could pm it to you...or not!

Either way, these gloves are wonderful, and I really think youshould publish them in some form or another.

I absolutely love ANYTHING Frida inspired.  Your kids are probably the most fashionable little munchkins in the neighbourhood!
