1531  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Tips for Participating in Craft Fairs / Re: Pricing questions... on: October 16, 2005 04:27:45 PM
Well, excuse my comment. I guess you guys are right. I'm just really cheap and wouldn't spend much on a bag. and I guess selling my bag for 8 bucks was kind of dumb of me.  Undecided

Neat bags. I'd pay up to ten bucks for them. I'm also going to a craft fair. In November. and I'm not sure how much to sell my bags for. Here's one of them:
What do you think?

Cute little bag. It's fun to have a customer so quickly. Now you can be planning your next bag !

Good job !
yeah Cheesy It's exciting. but it's not really a "little" bag. It's as big as a messenger bag..I guess I forgot to put the dimensions.. oopsies .. Well, Thankyou!

Cute! I've got some cousins who would love to have a bag like that to carry to school and show off!
But most likely they will look at me first before they will buy one. hihi.

Hehe, I think I should make mini versions of my bags. Then I could sell matching purses  Cheesy

This bag was fun to make ^_^ It was one of those impulse things haha. I would make a tut if I wasn't so damn lazy...but I am. so.. I've already sold this bag ((go me!)) for 8 bucks. She was my first customer and all, so I gave her a discount  Wink .and I really didn't know how much I should sell them for (any ideas?) Oh, and it doesn't have a strap because you can use different scarves and things so it's a bit different each day  Smiley

<< says Nurotic (my brand name type thing) ...not many people can figure that out  Cry

well tell me what you think!

sleeves have reduced me to tears and destroyed tons of great thrift store finds for me...you did a great job, and I'm sure it took quite a lot!
oyy I know what you mean, but after a while I figured out how you're supposed to piece it together and stuff Smiley and you dont notice it in the picture, but they're uneven! hehehe ohwell
Ohh great job... I'm about to start reconstructing some tee shirts myself, I'll be looking at yours for referance Smiley
thankies, and Good luck with your recons  Cheesy
I love the length, I've been loving the longer shirts lately, and this one is is awesome!
hehe I think they're the greatest  Cheesy but I think it's turning into a new "trend" or something. but whatever

wow your friend is very lucky. Shocked no tutorial Cry oh well. i have been looking for a bag similar to this, not to big not to small. also is that glitter? like the material or did you glue or sew it on there? Huh Smiley
aww well one day that I can get on here long enough, i'll give you a tut Smiley ..and the material was this shiny silver ribbon-ish stuff cut into teeny strips and weaved together. So it started unraveling in one spot Sad ((covered with safety pin haha))

very nice. i like how girly it is. If i carried it, it'd be a perfect example of how opposites attract.  Cheesy how did you do the snaps? i have a snap fastener but not instructions. if you could explain that it would make my day! Kiss
those directions confused the hell outa me...and I dunno if I can explain it... but maybe I'll take some pics of how to do it and make a tut for snaps! hahaha  Cheesy so just keep a look out for it. some time soon i hope

I made this purse for my friend Katie. and it turned out girlier then I'd wanted haha. so I attacked with permanent marker and safety pins, but i stopped before I really killed it O_o
I planned on making a tutorial for this (cause I was that bored) but... I kept forgetting ..so I didn't take a lot or pics ((oopsies!))
well...tell me what you think ^_^

oh yah, snaps = evil. the instructions made NO sense at all, so it took me two hours for a 2 minute job ((laughs at self)) .. ok thats all  Cheesy
