That Lack shelf is perfect for yarn. I've been wanting one for a while, but I think I have a purpose for it now.

I didn't think to include the part about the dishwasher. I would definitely recommend doing them by hand, so I should put that in.

The one with the narrow base is surprisingly well balanced, but I'll check to see what it's tipping point is.

1. I love this hat. It's cute. I have a couple of awful old wool sweaters that I could use for this.

2. You look like Sara Rue.

Simplicity 4070. It sizes up easily (even though it only comes up to a 22) and it is very flattering.

I made my dress. It was 2 pieces: A circle skirt and a corset/bustier type top. I used the roethke tute for the top and just drew up a few extra angles for the boobs.

Unless your friend is heart set on a certain type of dress, you may do better with two pieces. you can mix and match styles, giving you a huge amount of options. Also, check out burda styles for cheap or free patterns. They have a pretty decent plus section, and even one plus formal dress. I have quite a collection of their patterns, so feel free to PM me for more info.

This is such a hot costume. It looks awesome.

I'm not kidding. There is not a single group shot where I am not inappropriately jamming my hands in that costume. I checked Cait's camera too.

I love this outfit, especially the helmet and cap.
