I made my dress. It was 2 pieces: A circle skirt and a corset/bustier type top. I used the roethke tute for the top and just drew up a few extra angles for the boobs.

Unless your friend is heart set on a certain type of dress, you may do better with two pieces. you can mix and match styles, giving you a huge amount of options. Also, check out burda styles for cheap or free patterns. They have a pretty decent plus section, and even one plus formal dress. I have quite a collection of their patterns, so feel free to PM me for more info.

Muffin Merge 08 was successful. And our feet are just touching the ground since. I hadn't put pictures here yet, but I'll keep it minimal and link to my post and the flickr.

i've been really wanting it short and super blonde for a long time now, but nearly everyone tells me not to do it.  so i've just been doing the underside of my bangs.  anyway, what are your thoughts?

I always had free reign over my hair, because it'll grow out, can be dyed and bleached. So go for it. If you don't like it, Spend the 10 bucks to dye it back. tell your friends they'll get used to it.

It is LONG. and I have fallen into ponytail/braids rut. I want to cut it, but i need to have the ability to pull it back (for my own sanity) and I just recently learned to frenchbraid (out of necessity), but it is the longest it's ever been and I don't think I can stand it anymore.

So what the hell do I do.

Also, I am lazy and don't spend time on my hair (hence ponytail rut) unless it's a Very special occasion. Suggestions?

It's a hanging organizer, pen/paintbrush/small scissors holder, spirograph necklace and matching bracelet made from clear coated wire, a paperweight (with the same pattern--I'll have to get a better picture), a really cute journal with different scrapbooking papers on the inside and a charm on the binding. There is also spirograph/bead decoration that was attached to a bow (because she wrapped everything) that i'm going to use as a bookmark. And an AMAZING light box. She used an led push light inside and put pinholes around all of the circles, so it glows. I love it all.

I used two different patterns for the top and sort of winged the skirt.

Unfortunately, It met a tragic end when my mom tossed it in the washing machine before I had finished the side seams. And then told me she had ruined the green dress that I made for my boy toy's sister's wedding. I almost had a damn heart attack.

i don't know if anyone else has been sucked in by Bunny, but it is a UK comic strip featuring Bunny and his strange scenarios. I'm starting xmasing early this year and made Bunny for my old supervisor (the guy who Bunnied me to begin with).
