Here are the 3 I made this weekend.
The red is mohair double stranded.
The first green and blue is yarn I spun.
The second green and blue is yarn I dyed.

I have the feeling she might get bombarded beacuse Brenda on Cast-on mentioned it today.

Another idea to get rid of the stuff you know you won't use is this program:
Intern House.

this looks like a great place to donate my "unwanted" yarn. the only thing is, i didn't see an address to send things to. did i not look in the right place?

if you can point me in the right direction, i'd appreciate it. i can easily send them a box of acrylics and a few needles/hooks.

I noticed that also. I sent the head of it an e-mail and I will PM you as soon as I get it.

27  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: Anthropologie-inspired capelet- By julsey723 on: February 04, 2007 11:01:25 PM
Finally finished mine and I thought I loved it but once I put it on, the armholes are too tight. Anyone have this problem - it seems to be a recurring problem with top down raglans for me.

Its a serious problem that I have. My rule of thumb is that I put the stchs on a scrap yarn, measure it around my arms and ask my husband or a friend.
If neither is an option I get it to the point where i think its big enough then I knit 3 more rows. Better to have big arms than small ones.
28  FIBER ARTS / Spinning: Completed Projects / Re: Fiber Friday 2/2/07 on: February 04, 2007 10:57:37 PM
So here is my first attempt at single plying yarn.
I let it dry with a water bottle hanging from it and seems to have helped the crinky ness.
I am getting better but I am want to get some fiber that is machine processed beacuse it is so much easier to draft. But I can't bring myself to buy more sense I still have a good five pounds of fiber.

I don't have a before picture, but here is my after picture.

My rule of thumb is that my stash is not out of control as long as fits in my Ikea toy storage dohiky.

I also have a small basket of stuff that I've spun in the last month, but I don't think it counts.

30  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Baby Pumpkin Hat (with pattern link and better pictures) on: February 04, 2007 10:52:18 PM
I wanted to make my friends baby one of these hats, but I could not find a pattern that I liked.

So I came up with my own pattern:

I didn't make another one yet, but here is the pattern:
