So I feel as if my skeins aren't most to post in comparison to you guys,
but I am doing it anyway.

All the details are on my blog

24  Hot water bottle cozy (with pattern link) in Crochet: Completed Projects by theresa24 on: January 17, 2007 06:10:46 AM
I've been very much in need of one, but could not find a pattern that I liked. I also had lots of little balls of handspun yarn that was supper bulky, thus the hot water cozy was born.

Its a very simple pattern but if anyone wants it can be found at my blog:

25  Re: Handspun Fingerless Gloves! in Spinning: Completed Projects by theresa24 on: January 15, 2007 01:43:23 AM
Thanks you so much for giving me an idea as to what to do with my hand spun yarn.
I am new thus I am still spinning bulky and smaller skeins so the gloves worked perfect.

I took notes so I will post a pattern on my blog soon.

26  Re: From the sheeps behind to yarn in Spinning: Completed Projects by theresa24 on: January 15, 2007 01:38:43 AM
I spun a couple more skeins beacuse we had a snow storm.

Its been fun use food coloring to give some of it color. I've also been experimenting with carding the different stuff together to see what comes.

I am very much in love with my new craft.

(fighting the urge to go out and buy a drum carder and spinning wheel.)

So my freind and I went out to purchases some raw fleece.
It was an interesting experience. Cleaning and washing the fleece has been interesting.

I produced my first skein of it tonight. (Its the brown skien in the middle

)

I used up some yarn that I had spun and died but ended up needing to make them a web bit smaller.
The darker green is done with the rib where you purl in to the previous row. I know it has a name but I can't remember it.

Thank you,

Here is the first 4 that I made.

They are all on size 3 needles. The 80 cast on is a bit so small for my huge head but it will work well for other smaller headed people.
