I have one of those mirrors, in the dark brown, and I covered it in really cheap, golden buttons, and it looks relaly awesome. I should post it sometime. I love yours too. I love the Ikea mirrors for crafting!

God, my favourite thing about murlocs is the noise they make.

Actually, now it might be how awesome they are in hat form.

(I don't play anymore because my computer decided it can't run anything more than the internet and solitaire.)

Anyway, if I do ever play again, I'll definately make a Murloc hat -- I'm sure it'll be an interesting way to meet people at college that play too.

If you want something witty and computery, I've seen this phrase used before:

"There are only 10 types of people in this world: those that understand binary, and those that don't."

(If you're part of the latter group, a quick lesson is that 10 is binary for 2.)
4  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: seventeen.portraits(not literally) on: October 07, 2005 01:02:51 PM
I really like your style a lot. I generally stick to pencil or graphite for sketches, but I rencently sharpened my coloured pencils in hopes of giving it a go. This may be the inspiration I needed : )

You are a wonderful artist! (And like a lot of others said, it's really neat that you can take photos and turn them into an almost-disney princess style. It's very interesting!)

Those are STUNNING.

I'm curious if you draw from photographs or if you are so skilled as to come up with proper proportions on your own? (Because I know I can't  Sad)

Also, are her legs crossed or just spread? I think I've been looking at it too long and  have gotten myself confused. Oh, and how big are they?
6  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: knit messenger type bag! on: September 06, 2005 09:16:31 PM
That's lovely. I like it a lot.

I think something like that will be my next knitting-effort. It's kindof like making a bunch of scarves and sticking them together, right?
7  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Re: Show me your craft "room"!! on: September 06, 2005 09:04:01 PM
My mother has always used our spare room for sewing, but that's it. I tend to do my crafting and knitting in my room or in front of the tv. I'm horribly tempted now to ask if we can gut the spare room and start over so it's can be used more (by me, of course).

Too bad I didn't think of this earlier in the summer.. not the day before I go back to university : P

You guys have great, inspiring spaces. Just like everything I see on crafster!

Wow. Your room is lovely.

I had a 'mandarin' coloured room throughout highschool and my first year of uni, but this summer it started making me crazy and digging into my brain. It was definatley time for a change.

But you will love, love, love the orange. It's always warm and happy and inviting. Very cozy Smiley
9  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: Those things we made in the 90's on: September 06, 2005 12:27:47 PM
Ahhh!! I used to make those ALL THE TIME. You know you're a child of the 90's when..

Anyway, it turned out cute. What are you going to do with it? wall display? Keychain?
10  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: Walking Stick on: August 31, 2005 07:01:27 PM
Wow, pretty. I used to do make walking sticks at my cottage in the summers.

Though I tried to carve designs in it. It was a little dangerous :S  At least for me.
