sandal omg...that's...i'm speechless.

i found the scarf i made my MIL three years ago in the hallway closet the other day when I was digging the vacuum cleaner out. unfortunately, we are now living with my in-laws (oh...god...help...) and seeing that scarf in there every day hung on a crappy wire hanger in the back of the closet makes me kind of sad.

thanks!! i'm sorry the pics are small...i'm not sure how i managed to do that...i forgot to take a pic of her bum - there's a little heart embroidered there. my grandmother used to knit and sew and crochet, and she sort of "signed" her stuff with a little embroidered heart, too.

what's the protocol on giving someone someone else's pattern? i don't want to get in crafty trouble!!  but if bluefiesta doesn't mind, i don't.

I kind of like it as a lamp. I might take the crystally bits off and spray paint the metallic bits with that spray paint that looks sort of like stone or something. I'm not explaining this well, but I sprayed a floor lamp I have with the stuff to look like bumpy stone-ish stuff.

Or...take the crystals off and make a windchime/mobile/hanging art. Maybe paint them?

Doesn't Martha Stewart have a thing where she makes snowflakes out of old chandelier crystal?
