1  Play kitchen redo in What the heck can I do with THIS? by NeedSleep on: May 16, 2011 11:54:10 AM

Ok creative people. I'd like to revamp this play kitchen, any suggestions?  The playroom is a dull medium shade of green with creamy beige baseboards.

What color would you suggest?  Any ideas beyond new nobs, silver hood, eyes painted on stove, maybe some curtains?

2  Need help with ribbing in single crochet in Crochet: Discussion and Questions by NeedSleep on: February 08, 2006 10:28:25 AM
Hello there.  I am trying to make an Amigurumi doll and stuck on the hat.  It's all done in single crochet, but I don't get how to do the ribbing around the bottom of the hat.  The pattern is in Japanses, so I just have the chart to go by, no directions.

Any ideas?  Here's a picture of the hat (it's the RED one)  A pattern for a similar hat in english sure would be helpful.....

3  New and trying to make Amigurumi....pics with questions in Amigurumi: Discussion and Questions by NeedSleep on: November 03, 2005 04:46:23 PM
I am just leanring to crochet, never done a thing before this.

I am trying to make the Amigurumi animals posted by Roxy Craft and have finished the body on one.  Have a few questions.

Is it supposed to be slanted like this?  It is worked in rounds that are joined.  I'm having a hard time figuring out exactly where and when to join...guess that'll come with practice?

Anyway...is this right?

Any advice is more than welcome!!!  Thank you Smiley

4  Re: PATTERN-Amigurumi Animals...now with more patterns in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by NeedSleep on: November 03, 2005 10:19:35 AM
Well I finished the body and have some questions (this is my first time ever trying to crochet)

Is this what it's supposed to look like?

See how it's slanted?  Is that right?

I need to work on figuring out where to join and which loop to join to, but the rest went pretty smoothly for not knowing what I'm doing.

Sure would love any tips!!!
