41  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Ongoing Wish Swap 31 Gallery on: March 06, 2008 05:14:15 PM
I received two fantastic packages this week! One from MommytheMaid and the other from AsphaltQueen. Lots of fantastic stationary from AQ, along with awesome owl jewelry! And cute napkins and embroidered tea towels from MtM. I'll be posting my pictures soon!
42  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / A few new bags and wallets.. I've been busy! on: March 06, 2008 04:00:03 PM
I just re-stashed my fabric supply and have been having lots of fun sewing up some new goodies. Here's a few of the things I've completed recently.

Apple Mouse Messenger bag: Made from some fantastic wool and cute japanese import linen blend fabric. I just love it!

Ahoy Clutch: Some more fantastic wool and anchor applique on front.

Sweet little sheep wallet: More import fabric! I love how this wallet turned out.

Birdy Zipper pouch: Found this fabric and had to have it!

*Whew!* I still have more things I'd like to make too. Any comments/suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks!  Smiley

So.. I've been waiting for this swap to start and have been thinking up bunches of ideas. As soon as I got my partner info, I stalked a few posts and her wist and think I have a really good feel for her style.

And.. I'm done! Grin
I crafted my bootie off tonight, but I got everything finished, plus a few extras. I'm so happy with everything and the way it all turned out. I was just in the "kitchen goodies" moment and went with it. I hope you'll love everything loopylamb!

P.S- if anyone is interested in seeing what I made, I'd be happy to share some extra inspriation.  Wink

And finally, here are a few pics of my kitchen.

Lots of green in person. Accents of red, white and wood. I totally had my brother put up my pans on the wall when he came to visit.  Smiley

50  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Anchors Away Tote Bag! on: February 25, 2008 12:20:46 PM
I actually found the magnetic snaps at joanns, but I'm sure they wouldn't be too difficult to find online.

Where do you find the closure for your bag?  I have looked everywhere and haven't been able to find them, I think I must be blind because EVERYONE has them!! haha

I love the nautical theme you have going on here, it's awesome!  The bold anchor on the front looks great and the inside fabric coordinates so well!  Very nice job & thanks for sharing!
