we do have seasons here... and i have thought about a bag for all seasons. sounds really fun actually! i was thinking of doing a spring one next, with a cute little budding tree. oohh... perhaps i'll have to start one tomarrow. :]

although, i just got this new fabric that i want to do an ocean scene with...

tough choice!

felt sounds awesome. there are a trillion billion million things one could do with felt. I think it would be an awesome turnout... just imagine all the different projects people will come up with.

there's really no limiting your creativity with felt... hehe

there's two credit card spots, and one pocket inside. it snaps shut to keep all my goodies in. 

it took me about an hour and 10 minutes just to sew the leaves and tree on.

Okay... so i'm a newbie and this is my first post... just thought i'd mention that for some reason...

anywhoo, so i finished a bag today! and i'm actually going to keep it. everyone always thinks that because i sew for a living, that everything i have is something i made, but actually, i never keep anything for myself, so this is mine! :]

i used felt for the tree and leaves appliques and lined it with a super cute green and earthy cotton. i think it turned out quite yummy. and there's a super cute button on the back.

the red corduroy isn't that red, its more of a deep burgundy/red. very autumn-ish. i just had to show someone!! there's no one home and i'm really proud of how well the tree came out. :]
