I just re-opened my etsy shop, but previously, I did pretty well. I'm really hoping to get the views and sales I had a few years ago, but I'm still catching up with all that has changed since I last was selling. Lots to do!

I LOVE owls! Super cute purse and idea! 

I second the use of wonder-under! I do a lot of appliques and heat-bonding them first makes them SO much easier to stitch around, and you can draw your design on the back first, and it's super easy to cut out, and no pen lines on your applique.

They measure about 7 inches in length and about 6.5 inches in height. I hope that helps!

I have been a busy little sewing-bee these past few days! I finished these pouches today (and have 2 hobo bags just waiting to be finished up too!) and thought I'd share. A few of them are a double zipper design, which is new to me, but I'm pretty happy with the way they turned out! I ordered some great new fabrics and had fun turning them into something fun and useful!

Okay.. onto the cuteness!

First is the little hedgehog love zipper pouch!



Gnome-y goodness!



And cute little love birds! (I'm giving this away in my blog too! (can I say that here?  ))



Then, a pouch design that is pretty usual for me, but I still love it. A birdie applique.



All of the double zipper pouches were made with cottons. I did not use a pattern or tute, so I just kind of winged it.

The bird applique pouch is made from a wool-felt and lined in cotton.

What do you think? The double zipper pouches seem okay?

I  officially re-opened my etsy shop last night and sold my first item in the first 5 minutes. Such a positive start definitely made my day.
