i've never used pre-made fondant, so i may be little help to you but.. I've made fondant before using marshmallows and found that if it was too sticky, it needed more powdered sugar. too dry, and needed a bit of crisco. here's the recipe i used: http://whatscookingamerica.net/PegW/Fondant.htm . it was super easy, if you're not too frustrated it might be worth trying. it also helps to put a layer of buttercream on before you cover a cake/cupcake to make it stick

wow! those are amazing! i never would have guessed that those are soap! in all honesty, i saw the picture link and clicked on it because i thought they were real cupcakes.

i've made this pie too! it's so good. i actually like it without the addition of cinamon, but i do agree that the bottom crust should be baked a little bit before adding the apples; it gets a little soggy otherwise.

My mom is a breast cancer survivor, and we've been doing the Making Strides walk every year for the past 6 years. This year, my friend Jen and I decided to make a cake for my mom using the pink ribbon theme. My mom also loves Longaberger baskets, so we decided to incorporate that in as well. this is what we came up with:

This was the first fondant cake either of us had made, and we're pretty pleased with the results. We made marshmallow fondant, and the cake is a vanilla butter cake with sprinkles inside. The buttercream frosting was also made from scratch.
We ended up with a lot of extra fondant (We originally werent sure how much fondant we'd need, so we made the recipe x 1.5) so we decided to make another cake just to use up the rest of the fondant. It's creepy witch hands holding a book:

wow, i really like it. it totally doesnt look like a sheet at all. how hard would you say this pattern is?

i love tortillas. one of my favorite things to do is take a tomato and basil flavored tortilla, sometimes they have sundried tomatoes in them but not always, and put butter or olive oil on it, then sprinkle with garlic salt and parmesan cheese. (i prefer shredded, but the parmesan in the shaker would probably work just as well) then i stick it in the toaster oven until the cheese is all bubly. it tastes a little bit like pizza because of the tomato and basil. sometimes i'll cut up some slices of deli ham and add that, or whatever i have in the fridge.

Mmm..this is soo good and easy too. You take 1 lime or lemon, and then you cut it in half. You squeeze both halves into a cup with one can of seltzer water and then mix. You can add sugar if you think it's too sour. Without the sugar, it tastes just like sprite without the sweetness . It tastes extra lime-ish if you use a can of lemon-lime seltzer water instead of plain.

Seltzer water or ginger ale with a small cup of those preserved peaches also tastes very yummy.

the first drink reminds me of a lemonade that a local pizza place makes. they use fresh squeezed lemon, water, and to sweeten it, they put maple syrup in it. add ice, and it's cool, refreshing, and not too sweet.

That dress is super cute. I really like the style, and it looks very flattering too. I like the way it looks with the white belt also.
