1  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Valentine's Day / Re: making a cd and need suggestions! on: February 01, 2011 01:01:05 PM
My husband and I got married to the song "Be Here Now" by Mason Jennings. Also, "Love" by John Lennon is always a good choice. And if you're getting frisky, I'd recommend "4 out of 5" by Peter Bjorn and John, and "Phenomena" by Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

Awesome! I have all my earrings in these ugly plastic containers. I am totally hitting up Michael's this weekend and making this. Smiley

I've got two of those clocks sitting in my library... I think I'm going to have to fix them up. I've got some steampunk themed scrapbook paper... Smiley

These are AWESOME! Thanks for the link. I think I will make some. They'd be a great stash buster, or a way to use up cheap, scratchy yarn that skin should not tolerate (i.e. the tons of red heart super saver my mother-in-law gave me.) I'm going to make some brightly colored ones to put in my craft room. It has an Indian/Middle Eastern theme.
6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Faux ear piercings? on: October 08, 2010 08:20:23 PM
Hi Y'all!
My husband wants to be Trent (from Daria) for halloween. The character has three silver hoops down each earlobe, but my husband does not actually want to get six ear piercings (or any). Do you all know what I could use to re-create this look without actually piercing or paying a bunch for ear cuffs?
 Thanks!
7  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Daria doll on: September 09, 2010 07:27:34 PM
This is awesome! I'm going to be Daria for Halloween and my hubby is going as Trent. (And finally I will be able to make out with Trent, which has been my fantasy since the age of 13!)
8  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Lyra's Hat from Golden Compass on: August 22, 2010 03:08:07 PM
So basically it starts out as a big rectangle, and then you stitch up one side to make the back ridge? I'm more of a crocheter, but I think even I can make that! Smiley

Would you be willing to share a pattern?

This is awesome! I'm totally going to have to make one for the husband. He's from Philly and also a HUGE Sunny Fan!
