1  Sundress Mania in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by PassionFaerie on: April 16, 2009 07:56:14 AM
Even though it is still pretty chilly outside, I couldn't wait to make some sundresses for my daughter. She's five and completely objects to wearing anything that is not twirly or ruffly. Smiley

I didn't really use a pattern on any of these, just a couple outgrown dresses that I cut up to use for a guide and then added inches where needed.

2  Summery Stuff in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by PassionFaerie on: May 23, 2008 01:48:59 PM
I've been whipping up some breezy summer stuff for this hot weather (it was 105 degrees last weekend. Shocked)...

This material was in a box of old fabric from my best friend's grandmother, who passed away last year. It was actually a set of curtains, but I just love that orangey red color and had the perfect ribbon to go with it, so, wa-la its a shirt!

Ignore the bizarre drama queen pose, I was just trying to get an angle that didn't make me look huge! And I have a broken toe, hence the lovely splint. This dress is so comfy and I actually drafted the pattern myself. A few alterations later, I love it!

Yay for dollar fabric! I used the same pattern for this dress and tweaked the neckline a bit. I also did a contrasting gray and white floral fabric and fabric covered buttons.

Thanks for looking!

3  Hooray! I Get to Post Here! in Quilting: Completed Projects by PassionFaerie on: January 13, 2008 04:12:21 PM
Here is my first ever attempt at quilting:

Made this for my dad for Christmas, it's made of blue fleece, old jeans and fabric found in my great grandma's old fabric stash. Score!

I started on this a couple days after I was finished with all the Christmas presents I'd been making for the past few months:

I ended up making matching curtains for it too. It's a bit wrinkly, but I love the fabrics in this!

Hey, I made some of those too! Yours are really cute. Here are mine, don't mind the dorky pose...
