2  beach baby overalls! Pinch Me! in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by purplepiegirl on: August 21, 2005 06:47:55 PM
Hey guys, I just wanted to show you all my beach overalls I made for basically no one. These are size 3t.  My kids are too big but I fell in love with the overalls at the thrift store and thought they would be a great canvass.  What do you all think?

I made my own version of the primp sweatshirts that the celebs are wearing.  I hand painted these and also added bleach spots.
I actually sold this outfit on ebay.  It is a kids shirt and pants.

here is a better picture up close

I also did a few sweatshirts with the ice cream cone

4  reconstructed and painted denim gauchos and overalls. in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by purplepiegirl on: August 17, 2005 08:02:01 AM
Hi!  Im so excited to have found you guys!  Im newly addicted to painting on jeans and just bought my first sewing machine about a month ago.  Ive tried using patterns but find them impossible to understand.  I love that you are all so crafty. I am already starting on some cool projects ive seen on here.   Cheesy

These are a pair of gauchos ive have made using a pair of my comfy jeans. There are actually stars painted on them but it is hard to see.

These were boring overalls and I cuffed and sewed the bottoms for capris.  Then mad bleached and painted butterflies.

I have alot more things but find it difficult to upload pics! boo hoo i will get the hang of it!
