1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Looking for a tutorial for shorts on: December 04, 2006 05:45:07 PM
I have such a problem searching for things on this site, I bookmark a lot of things, but most times the subject line isn't really relevant to the project inside, I'm spending hours on this site filtering thru things (which I never minded until now), but tonight I planned on making a pair of shorts...
this afternoon somebody posted something with a tutorial for some shorts, they were just plain jane shorts - maybe for bed.

Has anyone seen that? Can you direct me???
I'm also aware of the board/topic floating around called something like "where's that post" but I suck at searching for things, and don't know where to find that...
Is it just me or what!
2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Pattern for Cargo Pockets on: November 30, 2006 08:16:23 AM
I was looking at the post: Cargo Bag...lots of pockets! and people were asking how to make cargo pockets (also known as a bellows pocket)
(I didn't want to post this in there, because the topic was so old.. so maybe this will be more helpful)

I found a site that provides a pattern for a cargo pocket:
if you click on 'Components Layout and Requirements Sheet' you'll see it altogether, otherwise print it out in sections..

I was thinking of giving this a try, maybe you can too
3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Anyone making Friendship Bracelets these days?? on: September 21, 2006 08:31:18 AM
I got a ton of free embrodery floss and it just brought me back to the days where I would pin the safety pin to my knee and spend hours making bracelets, I still like making them so I was wondering if anyone had any cool patterns that they used. At Indian craft stores they always have really complex designs.. so let me know.  Smiley
4  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / silkscreen t patterns... on: July 11, 2006 12:22:49 PM
I love the vintage/messy effects that I have been finding on t-shirts these days, you know, the stamped drippy look, with crowns, wreaths, leaves, and splotches all over. fossil.com has all my favourite shirt styles. I attached a link to provide some sort of idea, I'm sure you'll see what I mean when you take a peek.

So I was wondering if anyone has been successful in making a t-shirt with something like this. I'm an amateur just wanting to learn more. I wanna know how to do a print like this, or even if you guys know of any sites where I can find more patterns like this to try out.
