i feel your pain!  but i don't know if Special Effects will fix your promblem.  i dyed my hair with Special Effects wildflower about a week before you did yours, and it's totally gone too.  the *wow purple!* was gone after about a week, and then it was this dull gray purple.  i did the same bleach/let sit for hours/heat set/only wash every other day with a color-safe shampoo, and yeah.  i also have the same problem with terribly oily hair.  maybe that keeps it from sticking?
thank god it's not just me.  i was starting to think i'm just awful at dying.

here's my hair this morning.  five bucks says it's gone in a week.  :/

The layers look kind of stupid in that picture.  My bangs look much better than that.

i really like the layersssss!

are you worried at all that the holes in it might not keep you so warm?

to tell the truth, yes. but i live in chicago. so i'll wear it probably til early to mid november and i'll be fine with just it. and none of the holes show skin so i should be fine or in school since cps doesnt have the best heating.

I'm from the subs around chicago. Did you make it to feind club o6? They put on a great show. I got a pic with some of the members and a signed ticket.  I will kill for that hoodie man. I need to learn how to do awsome stencling. I suck at hoods to. everything crafty in general. But anywho....... Who spilt my beer? Shocked

feind club? i think u meant fiend fest. yeah i saw them. they put on a good show. the crowd ruined it.
Yeah sorry I was thinking of the song. I was up in the overhang above the stadge.

yeah i was in the crowd but everyone was being so stupid! like no offense, but surburban kids seem to need to proove themselves by being the BIGGEST ASSHOLES. like ok at the chicago riot fest if someone falls in the pit. u pick them up. u dont throw elbows, dont throw fists. and then at the adicts they were just ignoring ppl if they fell and throwing elbows and fists like crazy! and the chicks there were giving me dirty ass looks i was like wtf. and i went up on stage during naughty girls and like i was dancing and this girl GRABBED me and pushed me i was like WTF! argh i was so mad.

murphy - don't do a thing, it looks gorgeous.

That's the same thing I was thinking!  Sometimes hair can seem 'boring' because it isn't so different, but it is beautiful and really suits your coloring.  I love it!

awww dam. i dunno. i just dont feel myself. meh i might as well keep it a bit longer.

and i just wanna do something cuz i dont liek it plain black AT ALL.

any ideas? i was thinking like brown.blonde.black.red. mix somehow?

MurphyChick101, my hair is much thinner and lighter than yours, but I used to bleach and dye it about once a month and I looooved the texture of it, it was so soft. People used to say "Your hair will fall out if you keep bleaching it!" but then hairdressers would always comment on how healthy it was. So I totally know what you mean! In fact, I want to bleach it now because the texture of my natural hair is so blech.

yeah my hairs actually thick. i love bleaching my hair and stuff. its bad. haha. im tempted to go dye it now. i have bleach. i think im going to put some streaks in it now. lol. GREAT.!

yeah my hairs in really good condition. and its strong.

my hair does fall out sometimes, but my hairs so thick u dont notice so when some of it does fall out i dont really care much.

i had dark black/brown hair and i bleached it a couple of times to turn it blonde.

thats how blonde i got it. and it was this color

i wanted to get it blonde so i could dye it blue. i just did bleach after bleach. which i know is REALLY bad for my hair.

but my hair seems to be immune to all the damage i do to it.
its pretty weird, like it feels fine and it still look nice. gosh i love my hair. i've dyed it repeatedly like i used to be as bad as 10 times a month.

so do a few bleach jobs if u wanna be daring to get it blonde. it took me i think.... 7 boxes of bleach to get that blonde. lol.

10  Illinois / Illinois: North / screenprinting in chicago on: October 30, 2006 09:11:11 PM
so i took up the art of screen printing (silkscreening whatever) and I went to buy more screens and i went to two art stores, and the third i went to was in evanston where i bought six screens for 25 bucks and i think thats a bit expensive.

so i was wondering

a. where can i buy screenprinting stuff, some good art stores
b. is there anyway i can get the screens cheaper?
