4  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / baby snowmen heads on: November 24, 2010 06:52:20 PM
I made some of these hats last year with the idea I got from someone on here.  (here is my original post with both links- http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=327141.0 )Well in one of the threads someone mentioned putting them on ping pong balls for little snowman heads. Wala! I did it! still have to add the carrot nose some how.

5  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / cute doll for a cute baby! lots o' pics on: August 15, 2010 09:08:25 PM
This is the first time I have ever made something like this crocheting. You all have inspired me!  I made it for my Godson to be. I also made it almost all one piece, the only thing I had to do was reattach the yarn with the start of the second leg.(just to note I did not use a pattern because they make no sense to me.) Let me know what you think. I am pretty darn proud of myself!

the face

half way

starting the legs

finished first leg

all done!

NOt sure about putting a face on this because the child is an infant and don't want any choking hazards. any suggestions?

as you can see I did the face, not the best but it will do

8  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / my sweet beautiful fairy. on: November 01, 2009 02:58:35 PM
First I want to say that everyone's costumes are so great I know I haven't got a chance but here's my entry anyway.
I started out with an old flower girl dress that was a bit small for my daughter and cut the top part off. I tied on three different color tulle strips all around the skirt  and ribbons. Her crown was made with craft wire and  these foam beady things, flowers and more tulle and ribbons.  her wings I made out of coat hangers and old stockings. I painted glitter on them and they also glow in the dark! . her wand was a plastic ornament stuck on top of a chopstick! and all glittered up. I also painted pretty stuff on her face but you can't really see it in these pics. Thanks for looking!
