The embroidery on your skirt is gorgeous.  The color and fit are beautiful as well.

I love the color.  It looks good on you.

Your genie pants are SO cute.  They look like they're a lot of fun to wear.
4  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Granny Square Sweater on: December 29, 2012 12:49:55 PM
This is incredibly gorgeous.  I never would have thought to make a cardigan using granny squares but this is amazing.

Everything is so beautiful.  I especially love the purple shirt with the blue/purple/off-white skirt.
6  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Re: Kimonos on: May 26, 2012 12:31:05 PM
No justifications needed...I think you did a great job on both.  Is that embroidery or applique on the blue one and did you add that yourself?
7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Dad's Shirt to Daughter's Halter Top on: May 26, 2012 12:27:31 PM
This is incredibly cute.  I love the back.
8  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Re: Star Wars - Obi Wan & Luke Skywalker costumes on: May 26, 2012 11:57:34 AM
Amazing job.  I especially like the Obi Wan Kenobi costume.  Is the top constructed of separate pieces or are they joined together in some way?

Both of your nephews look really happy and really proud of their costumes.

9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: A year's worth of sewing (skirts & tops) - lots of pics on: March 10, 2012 05:21:22 PM
I love everything.
10  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Hands Around Your Heart - a family portrait cushion. IMAGE MAHOOSIVE! on: November 15, 2011 11:16:55 AM
I love the idea of this and the execution is marvelous.

I had a similar idea for a quilt a few years back but couldn't get the family to cooperate.

As for the buttons, I thought that was deliberate when I first looked at so I think you could just consider the placement of the buttons to be part of the design.
