21  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Embellished Trench (Elle Driver's Trench from Kill Bill) on: October 22, 2005 01:39:23 PM
I love the black one. I like it better than teh original Kill Bill one.
22  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Button quilt on: October 19, 2005 07:07:43 PM
This is my first quilt ever. I made it for my son. I haven't decided whether to leave the quilting to just the buttons, or add quilting. I'll probably just leave it. The front is made from 4 different scraps I had. Black cotton, Yellow cotton, houndstooth(?) jersey, and green cotton. The jersey was a bit annoying. There are buttons at the corners of the squares, and the star applique is lined with buttons.

What do you think?
23  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Jogging pants to gym bag (first craft post) on: September 30, 2005 06:11:06 PM
I don't have any before pictures, I got a little ahead of myself and just went for it. It was a pair of really soft jogging pants that were too short for me. It would have made a nice skirt, but I wanted something cuter than my hiking backpack for my gym stuffs. I was going to add straps, but the drawstring works wonderfully once it's tied off. I just need to add pockets on the inside for my combination lock and keys.

Those are awesome, and they're all made form t-shirts? I especially love the first Bettie Page one, and the red and white misfits one.
25  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: Flaming green fur baby jacket on: September 30, 2005 02:44:00 PM
I love this jacket. Seth would look so good in it. I'm jealous. Is it just for babies?

28  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: Help me make this funky !! ; D on: September 16, 2005 09:51:47 AM
I think it would be awesome if you made it v-neck, but the more wrap-around style, with a big belt with a bow..and as others have said, tulle. My mouse is being stupid, but I tried...

29  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: Funky Retro Pin Cushion on: August 25, 2005 01:03:05 PM
I love that. It's the best pin cushion I've ever seen! I'd definately pay 5 bucks for it.

it makes me wish my insurance wasn't so cheap they refuse to buy the hard cases

Thrift stores have SO many hard glasses cases (at least the ones here do) . I have to control myself from buying them, because some are reallly really cute.
