1  Re: Rasterbater! (its not dirty!) make small pictures into HUGE murals so easy&f in Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions by Jason on: July 06, 2004 02:19:23 PM
thanks to rasterbater, my cd cabinets have a whole new look...

(it's difficult to tell from the photo, but that's like a virgin madonna looking at herself in a mirror)

now all the rest of my furniture is jealous.

thanks for the link!

2  Re:pendant lamp re-vamp in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by Jason on: February 29, 2004 09:09:23 AM
sorry that it took so long, but I can't even write a grocery list without throwing in a little bit of design...

I'm sure that I must have left something out, so let me know if you are having any troubles!

3  pendant lamp re-vamp with tutorial in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by Jason on: February 26, 2004 05:41:17 PM
I've had two of these dingy Target paper lanterns for years

and decided that they needed a serious makeover:
all that I really kept are the cords and lampshade rings.  I made the new shades out of plasticore.  it's actually a fairly easy project, and I took a bunch of photos to serve as instructions, if anyone is interested...

4  basmati rice bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Jason on: February 16, 2004 06:34:19 PM
this is pretty much a no brainer, but I didn't see any others posted... so here's a little bookbag that I made out of a leftover burlap rice bag.

all that I did was sew in a liner and add a little notepad and pencil pocket on the inside.
(yeah, that's all... this was my first sewing project ever and it took a few attempts before getting it right!)  I'm not sure what to do with it now, maybe I'll fill it with magazines and give it to my friend for her birthday... any suggestions?

5  nifty little art project in Completed Projects by Jason on: February 12, 2004 04:18:03 PM
hi all,

here's a little piece that I made a while ago (another school project) but a real conversation piece that's fairly easy to replicate.

there's a bit of direction on the project at:
http://projekt_j.tripod.com/projektj/id4.html

I also made up a set of visual instructions that were a part of the whole package, but I can't seem to find them now... I'll keep you posted!
