sorry if this is allready posted, i looked but couldn't find anything.  somehow i doubt it.  haha.
i found a couple of little crab claws on the beach and i'm wanting to coat them and maybe turn them into earrings.  i'm not sure how to go about this.  resin?  varnish?  shellac?  will this even work?  i imagine i'd dip them until i got the thickness of coating that i wanted.  anyone have any thoughts?  thanks!

Ya, those pedestrian Sundays were busy!  Did you just set up randomly on the sidewalk or did you have to go through the city, and pay for the spot?  When does that start?

count me in.  What kind of stuff do they usually have for sale?  Everything along the same line, or a bunch of totally random stuff?

6  HOME SWEET HOME / Exterior Decorating / Yard Art / Gardening: Discussion and Questions / Re: covering a chain link fence on: April 16, 2005 11:44:26 AM
ya, I thought of that, but there is no sun at all back there.  I guess there are plants that still grow in the shade.  The only problem with that is I'll have to wait a couple of years for it to fill out and I don't think I'll be living here that long!
7  HOME SWEET HOME / Exterior Decorating / Yard Art / Gardening: Discussion and Questions / covering a chain link fence on: April 16, 2005 09:56:24 AM
My neighbors yard is full of garbage, so I'd like to cover my chain link fence so I can enjoy my yard this summer.  I was thinking either a bamboo type mat, or something to weave through the fence.  It's gotta be weatherproof and cheap.  Any ideas?

I would totally be interested.  as for venues, I know the church of craft had a rock and roll craft fair at the gladstone hotel, it was great!  St lawrence market would be good.  I'll think about it and get back to you.
